EduRise is an AI-driven multi-sided platform that combines eLearning, productivity tools, and community — purpose-built for B2B Stakeholders ready to scale with confidence.
EduRise validates platform hypotheses through in-house micro-service delivery — using real client engagements to test, iterate, and generate revenue before scaling each validated feature into the multi-sided platform. This approach is supported by McKinsey, PwC, and Lean Startup research showing that micro-first validation dramatically reduces failure risk and accelerates product-market fit.
Small business owners are natural networkers. They love to help others and tend to trust their peers. They ask candid questions and find that others need the same answers — creating belonging and validation that feeds community engagement. With customer intimacy as our top value discipline, EduRise offers this connection free of charge, while layering in premium tools and content for those ready to level up.
Inspired by MEGA Mentors, our community outreach program called Future Business Owners partners with mentor-based organizations to provide training to underserved teens and young adults who wish to find their purpose and start a business.

Mary Layman is the founder of EduRise, LLC and President of TriMedia, a B2B consulting firm she has operated for 25 years serving growth-minded SMEs across marketing, automation, and training.
Her work with SME founders, some relationships spanning two decades, gave her firsthand insight into a persistent gap: SMEs lack affordable, trusted resources and a safe space to navigate uncertainty alongside peers who understand their challenges.
EduRise is her answer to that gap. Drawing on a Master of Science in Marketing from William & Mary (2024), Google AI credentials — Analyze and Reason on Multimodal Data with Gemini, Enhance Gemini Model Capabilities, and Build Real World AI Applications with Gemini and Imagen Skill Badge — and deep experience designing scalable systems for lean organizations, Mary brings both the domain expertise and technical foundation to build a platform SMEs will actually use.
EduRise, LLC was founded in April 2024 to deliver that vision through an AI-first, multi-sided SaaS platform built for the way SMEs learn and grow.
The effort is currently self-funded, yet she sees the potential of AI as a means to "flip the script" and leverage agility.
From free community access to premium subscriptions and marketplace transactions, EduRise monetizes at every level of member maturity.
EduRise's innovation strategy spans customer engagement, product systems, network effects, structural data, and AI — mapped against four competitive business model scenarios.
Four SWOT analyses mapped to each competitive scenario, alongside the full platform content type matrix — from free how-to videos to premium LFC with integrated productivity tools.
As a founder-led startup with no investors, every success factor is owned end-to-end. Here is what we are optimizing for in Phase 1.
External data source connections have been active since August 2023. Completing the first action item — visualizations that surface trends and pain points — is the seed to the entire platform architecture.
A critical SaaS metric. New members must reach an "aha moment" quickly after signing up. The free community provides initial value, but a curated onboarding journey must meet them at a pain point and guide them to a personalized dashboard.
Leverage TriMedia's existing client relationships to ignite participation. Send personalized content directing clients to sign in and see their own project work — bootstrapping the community with real engagement from day one.
Micro-service fulfillment continues in the short term but has limits. The platform must sustain itself through paid subscriptions and marketplace transactions for the long-term vision to be realized.
